Our Story
Founded in 1998 on Murano Island (Italy), Vianello Nadia Murrine is an artisan family run business that produces classic, artistic and modern Murano glass jewelry as well as home décor pieces. All our products are handmade from scratch, reason why each piece is unique in its own way.
We design and create high quality jewelry with authentic Murano glass, using ancient Muranese techniques of composition and glass melting that are passed down from generation to generation.
Vianello Nadia Murrine has several authorized distributors in glass boutiques in Venice, Murano, Como and Rome in Italy. In addition, our products are available in the EU in France, Spain and Greece. You can also find our products in USA, Japan, Brazil and Peru.
All pieces can be customized to suit the specific client requirements.
It all started with Nadia...
Nadia started working at the age of 15 as a decorator at “Cenedese” Company in Murano, and later continued her training in glass decoration with other local Murano companies such as “Rossetto” and “Stefanato”.
In 1984 she opened her first art shop as the co-owner of “Artglass”, a company dedicated to the production of jewelry based on mosaic glass known as murrino. In 1998 she created her own brand Vianello Nadia Murrine and continued the tradition in the authentic Murano glass jewelry making.
In 2015, Nadia's son, Davide Trebbi took over family business together with his wife Raquel and has transported the brand into the modern digital era, sharing the beauty of the Murano glass products through social media and e-commerce services.
In 2019, the first Vianello Nadia Murrine Shop was opened on Murano island, right next to the glass workshop allowing customers hands-on experience as well as allowing them to acquire the art pieces on display.
Mission & Vision
Vianello Nadia Murrine has the mission to preserve and promote the development of mosaic art of Murano, an important part of the Venetian culture and identity.
We are aiming to become a leading company in the glass handcraft sector, offering unique pieces of art whilst maintaining the traditional techniques and quality.

1998
- Foundation of Vianello Nadia Murrine by Nadia Vianello in Murano island.
2015
- The business was taken over by Nadia Vianello’s son, Davide Trebbi.
2016
- Attended the Second edition of Rolando Segalin Award.
- Participation in the Japanese TV program “Visiting Venice for the second time” broadcasted by NHK Premium Channel.
- Attended the fair “Artisans in fair” in Milano.
2017
- Launched the e-commerce site vianellonadiamurrine.com
- Attended “Artisans in the Palace” at the Mocenigo Palace in Venice.
- Attended the Third edition of Rolando Segalin Award with a special nomination for an ingenious creation.
- Radio interview by Radio Venezia.
2018
- Attended the The Venice Glass Week and held the workshop “Discover and design your own murrina” at the company’s workshop in Murano island.
2019
- Attended Giornata dell'artigianato in Pescheria a Rialto in September and December of 2019, with the exhibition of our work in Rialto, Venice.
2020
- Attended the event The Venice Glass Week and held the workshop “Thousandflowers and Tweezers” at the company’s workshop in Murano island.
2021
- Attended the event The Venice Glass Week and held the workshop “Thousandflowers and Tweezers” at the company’s workshop in Murano island.
2022
- Joined to official trademark Vetro Artistico® Murano.
